July – August 2004 - The concept of Arbit Choudhury – The World’s 1st MBA Comic Character is born in NITIE, Mumbai; and creation of Arbit Choudhury comic strips began.

September 5th, 2004 - Arbit Choudhury launched on the MastishK website (MastishK – India’s 1st fully online B-school challenge). 19 Arbit Choudhury comic strips released during the event.

July 1st, 2005 - 1st Arbit Choudhury comic strip based on an idea contributed by an Arbit fan released. Premanand Noronha becomes the 1st Arbit fan to have his name embedded in a comic strip.

September – October 2005 - MastishK 2005 (The online B-school challenge organized by the students of NITIE) takes place. Arbit Choudhury returns to MastishK in the for of MAFIC 2005 (MastishK Arbit Fresh Ideas Contest). Hundreds of entries received from B-schools across the land.

October 18th 2005 - Arbit Choudhury appears on the front pages of Bombay and Kolkata Times (Times of India).

February 15th, 2006 - Arbit Choudhury finds a mention in the “Did You Know” section of Wikipedia, and is recognized as the “World’s 1st MBA Comic Character”.

March 21st, 2006 - Arbit Choudhury Fan Club @ Orkut is launched.

April 2006 - “Arbit on SMS” launched in collaboration with Indiatimes. Fans could send “MBA” to 58888 and receive Arbit Choudhury jokes on their mobiles.

May 1st, 2006 - Arbit Choudhury and it’s creators pledge their support to Project Why, an NGO working with under privilaged children.

June 2006 - The concept of Arbit Choudhury as the World’s 1st B-school (MBA) Comic Character, selected as one of few bright creative ideas in the “Creative Future of India” Programme, out of more than 1000 contestants. The programme was organized by British Council in collaboration with IIM Bangalore. The creative maturity of the concept of the World’s 1st B-school comic character was highly appreciated by an international expert panel.

August 17th 2006 - Perplex Singh is introduced as a new character in Arbit world.

September 5th, 2006 - On the occasion of Arbit Choudhury’s 2nd birthday, a new version of the Arbit website is released.

March 12th, 2007 - Arbit Choudhury finds a mention in Times of India for the third time. The mention appeared in relation to the proposed creation of Arbit Choudhury merchandise by the management students of NITIE through their student managed company.

June 15th, 2007 - Arbit Choudhury’s featues as part of a feature article on web-comics, published in Chennai edition of Indian Express. This is Arbit’s second appearance in Indian Express.

September 9th, 2007 - An interview with the creators of Arbit Choudhury was published on the management blog Management Informatika.

September 2007 - Arbit Choudhury awarded the prestigious Manthan Award under the e-Entertainment category, for its contribution to developing the concept of micro-distribution. The Manthan Award is an initiative by Digital Empowerment Foundation , India as the National initiative of World Summit Award, to select and promote the best practices in e-Content and Creativity in India.

November 29th, 2009 – Popular website www.brighthub.com rates Arbit Choudhury as the 2nd best in Change Management, preceded only by Dilbert. The article also mentions that such comics can be used to liven up board meetings and presentations.

February 1st, 2010 - The 150th Arbit Choudhury comic strip is released.

February 10th, 2010 – Arbit Choudhury website 4.0, powered by WordPress, is released.
